Castle Bothwell

Castle Bothwell is in the middle of beautiful park located in the city of Glasgow. It's difficult to describe the peaceful feeling we had while we were walking around. We were basically alone. There was a "guard" at the gatehouse (very nice older gentleman). Other than him, we were able to explore around this beautiful ruin with it's immaculate lawns and striking red sandstone walls without seeing other tourists. The place was so quiet, so peaceful, so...restfull.

This picture does not do it justice. It does do justice to my photography and scanning skills, however.
